You can train an animated bird to do behaviors by using shaping and operant conditioning (clicker training).

(need a Flash Player installed, but it will offer a download if you need it)
Click on the box with treats in it to deliver a treat to the bird. If you treat a behavior, it will occur more often. If you fail to treat a behavior it will degrade and eventually the bird will stop offering it. You'll need to build up the behavior again from the start (like rewarding just a "look" at the button) to get the bird to do it again.
See how many times you can get the bird to peck the button in a row, but you'll have to build slowly with lots of rewards or the bird will give up! And the bird really likes to flap his wings, so be careful with the timing of your rewards or your get a wing flapping fool! :-)
Warning, it's addicting fun!
NOTE: Virus programs don't like the above page because the only item on the page is the Flash player screen and the virus program can't "check" it and without any other text on the page it thinks it's "suspicious". But this page/game has been around for awhile (over a year) and it is not a dangerous program.
