Dog Scout Badges

If you have an older form, do NOT use the TX address printed on the form! Please print a new form and use the MI address on it.

HOW TO EARN BADGES:
The Certification Program page gives you important details about how to earn badges with your dog!  The methods and criteria used to train and test each of the badges is found below.

STOP!  Before submitting a badge form, please read this  note from Lonnie
While we do our best to get the forms processed quickly, please allow 4-6 weeks for processing of badge forms

GETTING BADGES BY VIDEO:
If submitting your performance by video, please read the info on the Certification Program page FIRST.  All badges are availble through a video submission of you and your dog performing the required behaviors.  Some badges do not require video (log sheet only).

VIDEO EXAMPLES:
This YouTube channel has examples of video submissions for several of the badges: http://www.youtube.com/user/DogScoutBadges  (read the notes for each one to see if there were any things that needed to be different).

DATABASE:
Badges earned by Dog Scouts (updated 12-1-11)- Excel database of the badges current DSA members and their Dog Scouts have already earned. Sorry, it can only be an Excel database due to the width of this database- it's created in Office 2007, but saved as an Office 2003 version. If you can't recall if your dog earned a badge, check here.

RECORD KEEPING FORM:
